Where is my DLC (Data Link Connector)?
The DLC is most commonly found on the drivers side under the dashboard or at the bottom of the belly panel. Some Manufacturers unfortunately bury the DLC deep within the vehicle, or it is placed behind a KO (knock out), e.g. in a 2000 Acura TL, the DLC is located in the center console in front of the shifter, underneath the small removable coin tray. For your specific vehicle refer to your vehicle owner's manual.

When I plugged the AutoLink Scan Tool Code Reader in, it didn't turn on, why?
Please ensure all fuses are operational on your vehicle, for some vehicles ensure the cigarette lighter/ auxiliary port fuses are good as they may be tied in. Make sure pin# 16 has 12volts and pin# 4 is grounded, as these are the supply feeds for the scan tool to turn on.

When I cleared the check engine light, it turned back on shortly after, why?
This is indicating there is a hard code which still needs further servicing or repair.
Do your research as to there maybe related items affected to the DTC(s).
